Katherine's Diary is a dual novel/screenplay project centering around a saucy, pot-smoking, rock-and-roll-loving teen who becomes involved in a intense relationship with one of her teachers after enrolling in an exclusive private school. The novel is formatted like a personal diary (hence the title) and combines elements of historical/nostalgic fiction, black comedy, satire, romance, and erotica. Katherine's Diary is influenced by many works of literature, including young adult classics like Go Ask Alice and Catcher in the Rye; however it is not itself YA fiction. Katherine's Diary contains explicit themes and language, and is meant for an adult audience.

This Tumblr has two objectives:

• Personal creative inspiration and motivation through posts of images and music that I feel accurately reflect the themes of Katherine's Diary. I have a hell of a time getting motivated to write on my own. ;) Blogged images are not mine unless stated otherwise.
• To promote Katherine's Diary and (I hope!) bring myself a few steps closer to published writer status. Though this blog's content is currently inspiration only, I will soon post excerpts from the novel in serial form, along with posts of original artwork meant to accompany the final print.
